How PRP works
Platelets are your body's repair foremen: they show up at damaged tissue carrying the growth factors that direct healing. PRP concentrates them far beyond what circulating blood delivers — a plasma dense in exactly the signaling proteins injured tissue is waiting for.
We draw a small sample, concentrate the platelets on-site, and inject them into the lesion under live ultrasound. On arrival they release PDGF, TGF-β and VEGF — the chemistry that builds new blood vessels and lays down fresh collagen. One outpatient visit, minimal downtime, and nothing in the syringe that didn't come from you.

Not all PRP is equal

Does the PRP injection hurt?
Local anesthetic and ultrasound guidance keep it very tolerable. Expect a sore, 'worked-out' feeling for a day or two — that's the repair response waking up, not a complication.
How many treatments will I need?
Plenty of injuries respond to one injection; tougher tissue earns a short series. You'll get a defined plan at the evaluation — not an open-ended subscription.
